Location: Hybrid – Birmingham or London (flexible based on candidate needs)

Morson is recruiting on behalf our client, an infrastructure management company, for a skilled and delivery-focused Internal Communications Manager to support a busy and fast-paced communications function during a period of high demand.

Our client is a globally recognised leader in infrastructure and engineering consultancy, delivering complex projects across transportation, environment, buildings, and energy sectors. With a strong presence in the UK and internationally, they work with both public and private sector partners to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to excellence, our client operates within a large, matrixed environment that values strategic communication and employee engagement as key drivers of success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver core internal communications across a range of business projects

• Craft high-quality copy for internal audiences, including campaign materials, intranet updates, and stakeholder messaging

• Manage multiple communication workstreams, including support for internal events and content planning

• Collaborate with stakeholders across a large matrix organisation to ensure alignment and engagement

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience in a large, complex organisation (preferably at internal communications manager level or higher)

 

 

• Strong copywriting and stakeholder engagement skills

 

 

• Experience leading or contributing to creative internal campaigns

 

 

• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects

 

 

• Experience with Populo or similar internal comms tools is desirable but not essential

 

 

This is a hybrid role with flexibility around working location. Offices are based in Birmingham or London.
