Job Description

The Production Controller will oversee the full production lifecycle from Customer order, Programme Planning, Material supply and Production progress through to Customer delivery whilst ensuring Customer expectations are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

Plan and manage production tasks to protect TAKT including processing of required documentation.
Planning ownership of a programme stream and control of its key planning input to the Master Production Schedule.
Liaison with other internal programme streams to ensure coordinated planning and ultimately operational plan adherence to deliver on time load and off load.
Track, compile & report performance via KPI deck as defined by Production Support Manager
Material shortage risk mitigation.
Shop order housekeeping to maintain correct MRP demand for Supply Chain activities.
Control production costs whilst maintaining quality standards.
Monitor execution of shop orders ensuring offload dates are achieved.
Work with cross-functional teams to complete shop orders on time and within customer specification.
Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are always met.

Experience of working within a Production Planning / Manufacturing Engineering office.
Has worked with MRP/ERPs
Ability to prioritise
Analytical thinking and process driven
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders
Able to respond at pace and look to improve process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills, identifying errors and providing solutions to resolve

Site based role – Cambridge
Offers will be subject to full BPSS checks being completed
Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.

Other core services include the integration of complex systems into a range of vehicles for use by the military and security services including explosive ordnance disposal and battlefield ambulances all underpinned by a full in-life managed service provision to ensure customers‘ equipment is available where and when they need it.
