Morson Edge are currently seeking a Senior Category Buyer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil.

Key Accountabilities:

• Carry out high value tenders either using SAP Ariba or Soucing Exception

• Carry out Long Term Pricing Agreement tenders using SAP Ariba or Soucing Exception

• Negotiation of Long Term Agreements (re-validation or new)

• Work with Geographic Procurement on sourcing decisions

• Scouting for new suppliers and supplier visits

• New supplier selection utilising SAP Ariba

• Strategic & Tactical Sourcing


Skills and experience required:

• Communication Skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
• Excellent team working skills
• Good negotiation skills
• SAP Experience


Hybrid
12 month contract initially
37 hours per week
