Morson Talent - Vehicle Technician - Devonport Dockyard

Morson Talent is currently seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians to join the Supacat Project at Devonport Dockyard. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production and manufacture of high-performance military vehicles, specifically the Jackal, designed to protect military personnel in volatile environments against roadside explosions and mine attacks.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with Health and Safety standards in an industrial environment
• Efficiently and safely perform manual handling activities
• Interpret work instructions, engineering manuals, and drawings accurately
• Utilise hand tools and workshop equipment proficiently

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in an engineering discipline OR completion of a foundation, intermediate, or advanced apprenticeship
• Previous experience working with hand tools and workshop equipment

Pay Rates:

• NVQ Level 2 - STD PAYE RATE - £18.61 + radius allowance for distances of 35+ miles
• NVQ Level 3 - STD PAYE RATE - £19.45 + radius allowance for distances of 35+ miles

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 07:30-16:45 (35 standard hours per week)

Security Clearance:

Successful candidates must be able to achieve BS security clearance for this role.
