Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (LV Power)

Location: South West England, Devon, Plymouth

Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems focusing on LV power within construction projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on LV power systems
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis
• Conduct site visits to assess electrical installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence preferred
• Proven experience in LV power system design and implementation
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in LV power system design and implementation

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical design software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Previous experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling)

Working Conditions:
