Job Description: Avionic Supervisor (Chinook)

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of avionic technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionic systems working on the Chinook aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Plan and schedule work assignments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Inspect and test avionic systems to identify and resolve issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Avionic Supervisor or similar role in the aerospace industry.
• Hold relevant certifications in avionics or electronics.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft avionic systems and components.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Minimum of Apprentice trained or Military equivalent.

Experience:

• Experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of aviation regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in using avionics testing equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
