Inventory Supervisor
Menzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an Inventory Supervisor to manage & support an effective operational process, which ensures accurate integrity of customer / Supplier’s stock and data input. Also ensuring that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to. This role will ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld, and the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.

- Salary: £34,500 Per Annum, £15.11 Per Hour
- Shif Pattern: Monday - Friday
- Start Time: 08:00
- Length of Shift: 8.65hrs
- Hours Per Week: 43.25
Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
- Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with the customer
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
- Maintenance and management of IFS system
- HACCP awareness
- BRC awareness
- ISO9001 awareness
- Quality Control
- Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures
- Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
- Promoting an effective working environment, building a diverse, well- balanced team.
- Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and are effective
- Work closely with the site, customer and supplier stock teams ensuring clarity and consistency in all we do
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Communicate effectively with all departments on site
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- A professional manner
- Supervisor / Man Management.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance licenses preferable
Technical skills and behavioural competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good 'people-skills' for working with a range of colleagues and customers
- The ability to lead and motivate a team

Site / Customer Specific Duties:
- Annual Stock Audit — Ensure the full warehouse inventory is 100% counted each year in line with customer contractual requirements.
- Stock Accuracy Management — Maintain stock accuracy performance in line with the agreed SLA, proactively addressing variances and driving continuous improvement.
- Monthly KPI Reporting — Produce, validate, and deliver monthly KPI packs to the customer, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insight.
- Supervisor Duty Cover — Provide operational duty cover for the Warehouse Supervisor during periods of annual leave or sickness, ensuring continuity of service and leadership.
- Customer Discrepancy Communication — Communicate promptly and professionally with the customer regarding any stock discrepancies, including investigation outcomes and corrective actions.
- WPE Reporting Cover — Provide duty cover for WPE reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the business.
