Admin & Finance Manager

Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently looking for a Admin & Finance Manager to join our busy team based in the Scunthorpe. You will be esponsible for implementing administration and support activities related to office administration, operations, logistics and finance.

The Details:

  • Salary: £40,000 Per Annum, £18.31 Per Hour
  • Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 08:30-14:30
  • Hours: 42 Hour Week
  • Monthly Pay
  • Parking Onsite

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to) 

 

Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Communicating job expectations for the team; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
  • Completes special projects by organising and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
  • Improves service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating results with users.
  • Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
  • Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
