Network Design Support
The position is responsible the training and monitoring of TMS users and site compliance ensuring that TMS operating procedures are adhered to. This will involve working alongside the operations on both new and existing projects, on-boarding new clients and helping drive continuous improvement to meet the needs of a fast moving and scaling business. The position will report to the TMS Operations Manager.
The Details:
- Shift Pattern: Flexible – Days Monday to Friday
- Home Based but required to travel to sites and will involve overnight stays
- Working Hours: 07:00/09:00 – 16:00/18:00
- Salary: £35,00 Per Annum, £14.95 Per Hour
- Additional Benefits to Role: Company car or car allowance

Responsibilities
- Develop and build relationships with internal site teams and planners, with the aim of gaining a full understanding of the operations and challenges faced.
- Creation and maintenance of TMS system process documentation which will include site specific processes for individual clients where required.
- Providing training of users, ensuring that all staff have been sufficiently trained to complete their daily tasks.
- Maintenance of training records and liaison with site management to ensure compliance and process standards are being met.
- Supporting new client on-boarding or project activity for existing operations. Implementing the system solution as designed.
- Utilising and analysing relevant data from the Compliance Reporting and TMS Dashboards to identify issues and proactively drive improvements through site support and re-training where required.
- Monitoring compliance failures and investigate root cause, identify solutions or corrective actions and implement or escalate where necessary.
- Liaison with the TMS Systems Support Team for impending rate card changes and ensuring that the operations provide timely and accurate rate card change updates.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the 3PL environment, with a thorough understanding of logistics processes and supporting systems.
- Ideally has at least 3 years of experience with the Microlise TMS solution or has experience of the management of a comparable industry standard TMS product.
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication; interpersonal, organizational skills. must be able to evaluate situations and be able to problem solve and identify solutions.
- Is self-motivated and can manage workload to accommodate multiple projects timelines and priorities.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.
- Has in depth knowledge of Word, Excel and other Microsoft products, and ideally has some general IT skills.
- Experience of managing and driving change, in situations that are constantly evolving.
