Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for a Warehouse Cleaner to provide a professional, efficient and effective cleaning service that enhances the appearance of the facility and supports a healthy environment, at our depot in Scunthorpe. As Office / Warehouse Cleaner, your role is to provide a professional, efficient and effective cleaning service that enhances the appearance of the facility and supports a healthy environment.

The Details:

• Salary: £19,113.54 Per Annum/£12.25 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday
• Length of Shift: 6 Hours
• Hours: 06:00-12:00/07:00-13:00/08:00-14:00 Flexible
• Annual Leave: 28 Days Inclusive of Bank Holidays
• Paid Monthly
• Parking Onsite

Key Duties and Accountabilities (Will include but not be limited to):

• Clean building floors by sweeping or mopping them
• Gather and empty rubbish
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
• Checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• Discarding and removing plastic from pallets

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of general hygiene practices
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and applications
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and products
• Good verbal and written communication skills
