Are you a Science graduate or lab professional looking to take your first step into education? Choice Teachers are seeking Science Specialists to support our partner secondary schools in Peterborough.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your scientific knowledge into the classroom, supporting students in their learning while gaining valuable experience that could lead to a future career in teaching.

About the Role

• Support Science lessons as a Teaching Assistant, working alongside teachers in the lab and classroom

• Deliver pre-planned cover lessons across KS3 and KS4 Science

• Help students with practical work, demonstrations, and understanding scientific concepts

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils who need extra guidance

• Gain hands-on classroom experience across a variety of school settings

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold a degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field)

• Be enthusiastic about inspiring young people in STEM subjects

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Be adaptable and confident in different school environments

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the update service
