About the Role:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Support student learning and development in various subject areas
• Maintain positive classroom management and create a conducive learning environment
• Follow lesson plans and schemes of work provided by qualified teaching staff
• Support students with their academic progress and pastoral needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership teams

• Letchworth
• Hitchin
• Biggleswade
• Henlow
• And surrounding areas

Essential Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
• Graduate degree (2:2 minimum) or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for working with young people aged 11-18
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and teaching styles
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Desirable:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Experience in sports, arts, or other extracurricular activities
• Willingness to work towards qualified teacher status
