Choice Teachers is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Hemel Hempstead to recruit a dedicated and innovative Year 5 Teacher for a September start. Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 5 curriculum

  • Use assessment data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students

  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cross-curricular themes and projects

  • Engage in wider school life and enrichment activities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across year groups

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Degree in Education or a relevant subject

Experience:

  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 2

  • Ability to engage and inspire students with a range of abilities

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning

  • Passionate about fostering a love of learning and supporting student development

  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and equality in education
