Design & Technology Teacher – Supply Opportunities

Are you a passionate Design & Technology Teacher looking for flexible, rewarding work in supportive schools? We’re seeking enthusiastic D&T Teachers to join our supply team and make a real impact in the classroom.

Whether you’re looking for part-time work or a long-term, full-time placement, we can keep you just as busy as a permanent teacher — with all the flexibility and support that agency work provides.

Our agency has been proudly supporting schools across Bolton and Greater Manchester for 18 years. As one of the top local suppliers of teaching staff, we have strong relationships with schools and are confident in our ability to find you consistent, suitable work.

Requirements for this Role

  • An up-to-date CV covering your full employment history (including any gaps)

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Two professional references

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • A driving licence is desirable but not essential

  • PGCE with QTS OR a recognised FE teaching qualification

What We Offer

  • PAYE – no umbrella companies

  • Competitive rates of pay

  • Long-term roles can be paid to scale (M1–UPS) where appropriate

  • Flexible work options: day-to-day or long-term placements

  • Generous refer-a-friend bonus scheme (£100 once the teacher you refer completes ten days)

  • Pension contributions (subject to qualifying period)

  • Access to a wide network of friendly, supportive schools and dedicated consultants who are always on hand at the other end of the phone
  • Full compliance with AWR (Agency Workers’ Regulations)
We ensure all eligible long-term placements receive pay and conditions equivalent to permanent staff. After meeting the AWR qualifying period, you will be placed on the appropriate teacher pay scale and receive access to the same facilities, policies and entitlements as permanent colleagues.
