Choice Teachers, in partnership with a well-regarded school in the Biggleswade , is supporting their search for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Physics. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in September 2025.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Physics specialist who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stage 3 and 4. You’ll be joining a supportive and well-equipped department, with access to strong leadership and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards are maintained

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities

  • Support the wider school community and uphold school values

  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that enables all pupils to thrive

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Degree in Physics or a closely related subject

  • Experience teaching Physics in a secondary school setting

  • Committed to continuous professional development

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

Salary: Main Pay Scale (M1 – M6): £30,000 – £41,333 (depending on experience)
