Choice Teachers are working with a successful secondary school in Willesden to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated Humanities faculty in a school that values critical thinking, debate, and a rich understanding of the past.
About the Role:

Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop historical knowledge, source analysis, and writing skills

Encourage independent thought and enquiry through high-quality curriculum delivery

Monitor and assess student progress, tailoring support to individual learning needs

Participate in departmental planning, whole-school initiatives and extracurricular enrichment
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have a degree in History or a closely related field

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching history

Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment

Be able to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds
