Choice Teachers are Recruiting for a DT Technician 

A secondary school in the Bolton area, require a proactive and reliable DT (Design Technology) Technician to support the Technology department.

 The role requires the successful educators to:

• Prep all wood, metal materials and equipment for the DT lessons in advance
• Work with the Teachers and support staff to support the lesson when required - including supporting the pupils
• Ordering materials for the lesson when required
• Be organised and proactive so lessons run smoothly and all prep is correct and set on time
• Be a team player by using your own initiative and work with staff accordingly
• Follow Safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
• Follow health & safety policies and procedures at all times - including completing and checking risk assessments
• Attend and complete training when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a DT Technician or a related role.

• Proficiency in handling and maintaining workshop tools and machinery.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
