SEN Teacher – Dyslexia Specialist
Location: Clapham, London
Salary: £40,766 – £62,092 per annum (MPS/UPS – Inner London)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Negotiable

Choice Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with a dyslexia specialism to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Clapham area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with specific learning difficulties and play a key role in driving inclusive practice across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted teaching and interventions for students with dyslexia

• Promote and embed a dyslexia-friendly approach within the school

• Lead high-quality interventions aligned with the SEN Code of Practice

• Provide expert advice to staff on strategies to support learners with dyslexia

• Monitor impact and ensure successful classroom transfer of key skills

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Level 5 or Level 7 qualification in teaching students with dyslexia

• Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in SEN settings

• Strong knowledge of secondary SEN provision and literacy-based interventions
