The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, inspiring and hands-on Art lessons.
  • Encourage creativity, confidence and self-expression.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
  • Uphold the school’s child-centred values and high standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent qualification
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
  • Positive Behaviour Management Skills
  • A passion for inspiring young learners
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to work confidently with young people aged 11–16.
