Science Teacher – ASAP Start Until Summer Leigh (Greater Manchester)

Choice Teachers are working with one of our supportive secondary schools in Leigh who are seeking a committed Science specialist to join their team, delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is looking for the stability of a long-term placement, with the flexibility and support of an experienced education agency.

whats on offer

• Full-time role (5 days per week) until the summer, with the potential for the role to continue depending on staffing needs

• 2 guaranteed free periods for planning and preparation

• Opportunity to teach 8 Science lessons per week across KS3 and KS4

Additional Responsibilities

• Deliver 15 periods of general cover across the school where required

Requirements for the Role

To be considered, you will need:

• An up-to-date CV covering your full employment history (including any gaps)

• Right to work in the UK

• Two professional references

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• PGCE with QTS in Science (or recognised FE qualification with relevant classroom experience)

• A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
