Job Title: Sports Coach – Secondary School
Location: St Albans
Hours: Flexible, term-time
Pay: £100 per day
About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience coaching sport who are also interested in bringing their skills into the classroom. This role involves supporting PE lessons, leading sports activities, and assisting with general classroom cover in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons and sports activities to students of all abilities.
- Support teachers with classroom cover as needed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in organizing school sports events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Experience coaching sports in any setting.
- Ability to engage and motivate young people.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with children and young people
- Confident, reliable, and proactive
- Drivers preferred due to travel between schools, although this is not essential.
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding training and DBS checks (required for working with children).
