Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4) – Greenwich

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work across a range of supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary schools in Greenwich, supporting students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role may involve working in different schools on a daily basis, depending on the needs of our partner schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to support young people in reaching their full potential.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students in a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4

  • Assist class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where needed

  • Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning

  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment

  • Adapt to different school environments and routines when working on a daily supply basis

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • Flexibility and confidence working in different school settings

  • A genuine desire to help young people succeed academically and personally
