About the Role

Choice Teachers are working with schools across South West London who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Classroom Support Assistants to join them on a flexible, supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or child development and want to gain valuable classroom experience.

You will support schools by supervising classes, delivering pre-planned lessons, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
• Support students across a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings

About You

• A recent graduate with a strong interest in education
• Experience working with young people (tutoring, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, or school support)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident managing classroom behaviour
• Professional, adaptable, and organised approach
• Ability to work across different school environments
• Access to a car is essential due to varied school locations
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Full employment history and the legal right to work in the UK
