We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and reliable RE Teacher to support one of our partner secondary schools in Liverpool. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking flexible or long-term opportunities.

The Role

As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop strong literacy and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Encouraging student participation and engagement

• Supporting pupils of mixed abilities

• Marking and assessing work where required

• Attending departmental meetings or parents’ evenings where necessary

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 level

• Have strong classroom management skills

• Be passionate about supporting student progress

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
