Choice Teachers are working with a friendly and well-resourced primary school in St Albans to find a dedicated Year 3 Teacher. This is a full-time position starting at the beginning of the Summer term, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and lead a class through the final term of the academic year.

The Role

• Class Ownership: Full responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, marking, and assessment.
• Curriculum: Delivering creative and engaging lessons that bridge the gap between KS1 and KS2.
• Collaboration: Working closely with the Year 3/4 phase leader to ensure consistency and high standards.
• Environment: A school known for its excellent outdoor spaces and commitment to staff well-being.

What You Will Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• A proven track record of effective classroom management and student engagement.
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
