Sports Coach – Schools (Cover Basis)

Location: Huntingdon & surrounding areas
Position: Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time)
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to work on a cover basis across local primary and secondary schools in the Huntingdon area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work with the potential to progress into a full-time role.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions in schools during staff absence

• Work with pupils across a range of age groups

• Follow lesson plans where provided, or confidently lead your own sessions

• Promote teamwork, confidence, and physical wellbeing

• Represent the organisation professionally in school settings

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience coaching sports with children or young people

• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

• Passionate about physical education and youth development

• Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to different school environments

• Relevant coaching qualification desirable (e.g. Level 1/2), but not essential

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
