SEN Teaching Assistant – Woodford Green
£80–£90 per day | Immediate Start | Full-Time/ Part time

Choice Teachers are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Woodford Green area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in SEN, or someone eager to begin a rewarding career in special educational needs.

Role Overview

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3–KS4 with a range of additional learning needs

• Work 1:1 or in small groups to help students access the curriculum

• Assist the class teacher with planning, differentiation, and behaviour support

• Help create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, etc.) — desirable but not essential

• A patient, calm, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work well within a team

• Reliability, resilience, and a genuine desire to help young people succeed
