What You'll Be Doing

As a Science Technician, you'll be at the heart of the department, ensuring laboratories are fully prepared, safe and equipped for practical learning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, setting up and clearing away practical experiments across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Maintaining laboratories, equipment and scientific resources to the highest standards.
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering equipment and chemicals.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
• Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and lesson preparation.
• Maintaining accurate records of equipment and chemical inventories.
• Helping to create a safe, organised and inspiring learning environment for students.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Organised, reliable and able to prioritise a busy workload.
• Passionate about science and education.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledgeable about laboratory health and safety procedures.
• Experienced in a laboratory or school environment (desirable but not essential).
