Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher of Science (QTS) looking for a rewarding long-term role starting this January? A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Stevenage is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on an ongoing basis.

About the Role:

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial but not essential)

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student progress

• Work collaboratively with a supportive and well-resourced Science department

• Participate in departmental meetings, assessment cycles, and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds UK QTS with a specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics considered)

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching

• Has excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities

• Is reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting students’ educational journeys

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
