Choice Teachers are currently working with a range of schools across North and North West London who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Early Years, Primary and Secondary settings.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role offers both flexible day-to-day work and full-time long-term opportunities, making it ideal for candidates looking for regular school work or experience across different education settings.

About the Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs

• Support students across Early Years, Primary and Secondary (ages 4–16)

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Support pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs and learning difficulties

• Encourage student engagement, independence and confidence in learning

• Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people with SEN

• Be patient, caring and supportive in their approach

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be confident supporting pupils with different learning needs

• Be adaptable and able to work across different age groups
