We are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them access learning and reach their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with special educational needs

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
-
Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
-
Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons
-
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to support pupils’ development
Requirements
-
Experience working with children with SEN (such as Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is desirable
- Comfortble with personal care

A patient, caring, and understanding approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential
- TEAMTEACH desirable
