About the Role

Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Teacher for a thriving secondary school in Welling. This full-time role involves teaching girls’ PE and supervising girls’ changing rooms, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, inspire participation, and contribute to the school’s strong sporting culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to girls across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 if required).

• Supervise students in girls’ changing rooms before and after lessons.

• Plan, assess, and track student progress.

• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

• Contribute to extracurricular sport, clubs, and fixtures.

• Support schoolwide behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing standards.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

• Strong PE subject knowledge.

• Confident in motivating and engaging students.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding.

Desirable:

• Secondary PE teaching experience.

• Sports coaching qualifications.

• Experience running teams, clubs, or competitions.
