Choice Teachers is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bolton. This full-time position begins in September and runs through the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English teacher to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in helping pupils reach their academic potential through engaging lessons and supportive teaching strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the National Curriculum (KS3 & KS4)

• Raise student attainment through effective teaching and continuous assessment

• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and departmental goals

• Provide constructive feedback through marking and assessment

About You

We’re seeking an enthusiastic team player with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering a love of English.

You must have:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ A degree in English or a related subject
✔ Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
✔ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✔ A commitment to inclusive teaching and pupil progress
