Position: Sports Coach/PE Teacher

About the Role:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Sports Coach/PE Teacher to join a prestigious independent school in Cambridge. The school is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with a strong sporting background to inspire and guide students in their physical education and sporting pursuits.
This role is ideal for a candidate with high-level experience in sports competition and coaching. While a formal teaching qualification is welcome, it is not essential. Passion, leadership, and expertise in your chosen sport(s) are the key requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and sports coaching sessions across various age groups.

Support students in developing their physical fitness, teamwork, and sporting skills.

Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and inter-school competitions.

Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s overall sports program.

Act as a role model for students, promoting the values of discipline, resilience, and fair play.
Requirements:

A strong background in sports, with high-level competition and coaching experience.

Experience working with children or young people in a sports or educational setting.

Excellent communication, organization, and motivational skills.

A commitment to promoting physical activity and well-being.

Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a willingness to undergo DBS checks.
