Choice Teachers is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Finsbury Park. This is a full-time position, suitable for a passionate educator who can deliver creative and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. KS5 teaching may be available for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons

• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5 if desired)

• Support pupils in developing analytical, reading and writing skills

• Take part in curriculum planning, marking and assessments

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Participate in school life, including form tutoring and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification

• Degree in English or a related subject

• Proven ability to deliver strong results across varying ability levels

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A commitment to student progress and high standards of teaching
