Choice Teachers is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Willesden to recruit a dedicated Chemistry Teacher for a long-term position. The school has a strong science faculty and is committed to academic excellence, inclusion, and student well-being. About the Role:

Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for the right candidate).

Deliver engaging, practical, and curriculum-aligned science lessons.

Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and scientific thinking.

Monitor, assess and support student progress, using data to inform teaching.

Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to plan and develop schemes of work.

Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.

Degree in Chemistry or a related science subject.

Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable).

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Ability to adapt lessons to support a range of learning needs.
