Choice Teachers are looking for a Teaching assistant to work within a mainstream primary School in Chorley.

We are looking for someone who is resilient, highly energetic, and always maintains an excellent educational standard.

The role will involve working both 1:1 and in small groups. This is a temporary ongoing role starting ASAP.

The successful candidate must have;

    • DBS Certificate on the update service or we can arrange to process one for you
    • A CV covering all dates over the last 10 years -  including any gaps in work history
    • Proof of right to work in the UK
    • 2 professional references
    • Has qualification passes in English and Maths or equivalent
    • Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding the children across the School to further their development and understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
  • Taking an active part in departmental meetings and whole school training events.
  • Preparing for and attending parents' evening.
  • Preparing end of year of reports.
