Unqualified PE Teacher – Secondary Schools 

£100–£130 per day | Flexible & Long-Term Opportunities | Choice Teachers

Are you passionate about sport and inspiring young people? Do you have a sporting background and want to take the next step into education? Choice Teachers is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Unqualified PE Teachers to work in secondary schools across Mill Hill and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for sports graduates, aspiring teachers, professional coaches, and individuals with a strong sporting background who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

You may be a rugby coach, football coach, personal trainer (PT), sports instructor, athlete, or club coach looking to use your skills to motivate and support young people in a school environment. Full teacher training is not essential — we are looking for people with enthusiasm, confidence, and a passion for sport.

The Role

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Use your sporting knowledge and coaching experience to inspire students.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students in developing practical skills, fitness, and a love of sport.
• Work alongside the PE department and wider school team.

What We're Looking For

• A passion for Physical Education, sport, and working with young people.
• A background in sport, coaching, fitness, or physical activity (e.g. rugby coach, football coach, PT, sports instructor, athlete).
• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A positive, energetic, and reliable approach.
• A degree in Sport, PE, or a related subject is advantageous but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
