Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Euston who are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their team for the Summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design & Technology Teacher with experience in Resistance Materials / Woodwork, and the ability to support Food Technology where required.

The successful Design & Technology Teacher will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and hands-on learning.

About the Role – Design & Technology Teacher

• Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver lessons focused on Resistance Materials / Woodwork
• Support the delivery of Food Technology where required
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical and creative lessons
• Maintain a safe and well-managed workshop environment
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Contribute to the wider department and school community

The Ideal Design & Technology Teacher Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school
• Be confident teaching Resistance Materials / Woodwork
• Have some experience or willingness to teach Food Technology
• Have strong classroom management and organisation skills
• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
