Music Teacher

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Stevenage. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving department.

Key Details:

• Location: Stevenage

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: Until May half term (minimum), with a strong likelihood of extension until the end of the academic year

Requirements:

• Experience teaching Music within a mainstream secondary school setting is essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but not essential

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities

• A genuine passion for music education and student development

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with curriculum expectations

• Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate
