Choice Teachers is working with a welcoming and well-maintained primary school in Abbots Langley to recruit a committed Part-Time Site Agent. This vital role will support the day-to-day running and safety of the school site, helping maintain a clean, secure, and fully operational environment for staff, pupils, and visitors.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, enjoy varied tasks, and be proactive in keeping the school buildings and grounds in good order.

Job Duties:

Unlock and lock school premises as needed
-
Carry out minor repairs, general maintenance, and basic DIY

Ensure the site is clean, safe, and secure at all times

Monitor heating, lighting, and alarms

Manage deliveries and ensure storage areas are tidy
-
Assist with setting up rooms and moving furniture as required

Report any health and safety concerns and liaise with external contractors
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role is preferred

Basic understanding of building maintenance, cleaning, and health & safety

Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo checks (required for safeguarding)
Knowledge and Skills:

Practical, hands-on skills and the ability to use tools safely

Good time management and organisational abilities

Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently

Flexible and willing to support school events and occasional weekend work if needed
