Job Title: School Administrator

Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for experienced and motivated School Administrators to work across multiple schools in Clapham. These roles are ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced office environment and are confident in supporting school operations with professionalism and efficiency.

Whether you're looking for short-term cover or a longer-term placement, we have various opportunities available in both primary and secondary school settings.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Acting as the first point of contact at school receptions

• Handling phone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries from parents, staff, and visitors

• Managing attendance registers and reporting systems

• Updating pupil records and using school databases (e.g., SIMS or Bromcom)

• Supporting senior leadership with general admin tasks

• Managing post, photocopying, filing, and other clerical duties

• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and visitor procedures

Requirements:

• Previous administrative experience, ideally in a school setting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills

• Familiarity with SIMS or Bromcom (preferred but not essential)

• A calm, organised, and professional manner

• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

• Right to work in the UK

Onboarding Process

Successful candidates will be required to complete our registration process, which includes:

• Providing two years of professional references

• Completing mandatory safeguarding and compliance training (online modules)

• Undergoing an Enhanced DBS check, unless already registered on the Update Service
