Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across various schools in Greenwich. Whether you're an experienced TA or looking to take your first step into education, we have opportunities to suit your availability and strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers to deliver lessons and activities

• Provide tailored support to students, including 1:1 and small group interventions

• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation

• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

• Support students with additional needs in SEN and mainstream settings

• Supervise students during break/lunchtimes and on school outings

Requirements:

• A positive, proactive, and professional attitude

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience working in education or with children (preferred but not essential)

• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

• Right to work in the UK

Onboarding Process

Successful candidates will be required to complete our full onboarding process, which includes:

• Providing two years of professional references

• Completing mandatory safeguarding and compliance training (online courses provided)

• Undertaking an Enhanced DBS check, unless already on the Update Service

• Verification of ID, right to work, and qualifications (where applicable)
