Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working in a variety of primary school settings

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The teacher may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
