Choice Teachers are currently working in partnership with multiple secondary schools across the Bradford area who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Asistantss to join them on a full-time or part-time or temporary supply basis.

Choice Teachers are currently seeking Enthusiastic,Reliable and flexible Teaching Assistants to meet a growing demand for secondary schools across the Bradford area. We offer a range of opportunities including day-to-day cover, long-term placements, part-time and full-time positions—all tailored to suit your availability.


About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, providing essential support and helping to remove barriers to learning. This is a rewarding role ideal for individuals passionate about education, or those looking to gain experience before progressing to a PGCE or other teaching qualification.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting students in the classroom to remain on task and engaged

  • Building positive, professional relationships with pupils

  • Working with students who may display challenging behaviour

  • Assisting the teacher in managing the learning environment

  • Helping to promote a safe and supportive classroom setting


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be flexible, enthusiastic, and confident in working with young people

  • Have experience working with children or young people (including in youth work, residential care, or support settings)

  • Be comfortable supporting pupils with varying needs and behaviour

  • Be keen to develop within the education sector


Requirements:

  • A DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • A-level education or equivalent (desired)

  • Experience working with young people (educational or informal settings)

  • Two professional references

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A complete CV covering the last 10 years, IT MUST SHOW THE FULL 10 YEARS WITHOUT ANY GAPS (IF THERE IS A GAP FOR LONGER THAN 3 MONTHS PLEASE STATE WHY)
