Salary: £31,650 – £43,607 per annum (Main Pay Scale, depending on experience)

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join an outstanding modern school community based in the Kents Hill area of Milton Keynes, starting after the October half-term break.

Set in fantastic modern facilities at the heart of the local community, this welcoming school is committed to providing a rich, knowledge-led curriculum that encourages pupils to become confident, independent, and forward-thinking learners. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to lead a Year 3 class as they make the important transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2, nurturing both their academic progress and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role

• Teach a Year 3 class across the broad Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured, and age-appropriate lessons that challenge pupils to step outside their comfort zones and develop a love for learning.

• Guide pupils smoothly through the transition from KS1 into KS2, building their confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all pupils' individual talents and needs are met.

• Create a calm, positive, and well-managed classroom culture built on mutual respect, fairness, and high standards.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic primary team and contribute to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching within Primary education, with strong knowledge of the KS2 (or KS1/KS2 transition) curriculum.

• Is passionate about inspiring young learners and fostering a growth mindset.

• Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication skills, and high expectations for pupil attainment.

• Is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to celebrating diversity and inclusion within the classroom.
