QTS Geography Teacher – Secondary School, Peterborough

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified QTS Geography Teacher to work in a secondary school in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a new role, with pay in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), depending on experience, on a daily equivalent basis.

The Role

• Teaching Geography across secondary year groups.

• Delivering engaging and well structured lessons.

• Supporting pupils' academic progress and development.

• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Following the school's curriculum and lesson planning requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong subject knowledge in Geography.

• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service ideal.
