Choice Teachers are looking to recruit Newly Qualified Teachers/Early Career Teachers to work in secondary schools in and around the North West in areas such as Wigan, Bolton, Liverpool, Salford, Warrington and Preston in anticipation for the new academic year starting September 2026. 

This would be a great opportunity for teachers who have completed their PGCE's in the last 12-24 months who may be looking to get their faces known to certain schools, or people who want a bit more experience before finding a permanent role. This would also be a good gap fill until the right permanent role comes along if it hasn't already. It is common that newly qualified teachers find a permanent job through supply in the first few months of registering.

We are looking to recruit all KS3/4 subject teachers!

Choice Teachers can offer full time, part time and flexible day to day work. 

The timings of a generic school day is an 8.30 start and finish around 3.15pm. Planning and marking will likely be involved for any longer term role. Some schools may be able to assist with your ECT terms, however it is dependent on each individual school.

 

In order to apply you MUST have a KS3/4 or 5 PGCE in any of the above subjects, and MUST have a DBS on the update service, or be able to apply for one!

  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
  • Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

  • DBS Certificate on the update service or be able to apply for one
  • MUST have a Teaching qualification (PGCE,QTS or QTLS)
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK.
