Job Description

Choice Teachers are working with a high school in Leeds who are seeking a School Administrator to join their office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who can thrive in a busy school environment.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school office and providing support to staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff.

• Answer telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.

• Manage pupil attendance records and update school systems.

• Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks.

• Maintain accurate records and manage confidential information.

• Assist with organising school events, meetings, and communications.

• Use IT systems such as SIMS, Microsoft Office, and databases effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a school office or administrative role (preferred).

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• IT proficient, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy school environment.

• A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Two professional references.

• Right to work in the UK.
