Job Description

Choice Teachers are working with several primary and secondary schools across Bradford who are looking to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN) and making a positive impact in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties).

• Assist teachers with classroom organisation, learning activities, and behaviour management.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support tailored to pupil needs.

• Promote inclusion, engagement, and progress for all learners.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable).

• A genuine interest in working with pupils with SEN.

• Excellent communication skills, patience, and adaptability.

• A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Two professional references.

• Right to work in the UK.
